What a rig! 

After staying 5 of 6 weeks in motels in the fall of 2006, Merla and I decided it was time to change gears and get a serious setup to rest in with all our travels.  I have to admit it is different to travel in but wonderfully convenient knowing my bed is only a few minutes away when another 50 miles is just too far to drive.  It has a ton of space to haul our setup and inventory and weighs as much as 16,000 lbs. when packed but the big pickup pulls up a storm and is actually very easy to drive.  Diesel jumped to $5 per gallon immediately after we got it but has now (Jan 09) fallen to less than $2.  We also get a wonderful personal benefit – we’re set for any vacation trip you can hardly imagine here in the good old USA.
