Oooo-wee, that’s a tree!!
Near the wonderfully historical city of Charleston, SC lies a magnificent plantation with a history dating from revolutionary war days.  Middleton Plantation is one of our favorite finds in the south as we travel around the country doing festivals and shows.  One of its memorable features is the outstanding ancient trees on the banks of its waterways – the reason for its success before there were trains and 18 wheelers.  Now that tree could produce a lot of dulcimers!
